Your guide to the week ahead at United Manchester United return to action in the Emirates FA Cup this week, while there are also matches for our women’s and Academy sides across the next seven days. Erik ten Hag’s team have not played since Sunday 14 January, when we drew 2-2 with Tottenham, and will make the trip to Rodney Parade to lock horns with League Two outfit Newport County on Sunday, in the fourth round of the Cup. Marc Skinner’s United Women have two matches this week, away to Manchester City in the Continental League Cup on Wednesday before hosting Aston Villa in the WSL on Sunday. And that’s not all, as our Under-18s and Under-21s both have fixtures on Saturday, with the 21s hosting Norwich City at Old Trafford. MONDAY We will begin the week with further reaction to United Women’s clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. The Reds were unfortunately defeated 3-1, although if you missed any of the action and wish to catch up, or simply want to watch the key moments back, short and extended versions of highlights will be available to view on our platforms. United Women head coach Skinner is set to speak to the media in a press conference, ahead of United Women’s match against Manchester City on Wednesday, and you can watch the media briefing on ManUtd.com and in our app. Andre Onana and Cameroon take on Gambia in their final Africa Cup of Nations Group C match, so we will also be bringing you updates on how the Reds goalkeeper gets on. WEDNESDAY It’s derby day for United Women, as Skinner’s team make the short trip to the Joie Stadium to face Manchester City in the Conti Cup. FRIDAY Press conferences will dominate, with Ten Hag speaking to the media for the first time since the 2-2 draw with Spurs on 14 January. SATURDAY Our Under-18s and Under-21s are in action, with the 18s kicking off against Leeds United at 11:30 GMT at Carrington. The Under-21s lock horns with Norwich in a 15:00 GMT kick-off at Old Trafford. Due to Premier League fixtures taking place at this time, the young Reds’ Premier League 2 game will not be shown live on MUTV.
