Dancing On Ice is set to return once again in early 2020, with a whole host of famous faces already signed up for the show.
Clues have been dropped on the social media pages of the ITV show and fans think they have worked out who some of them might be.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are set to return as hosts but there is a change on the judging panel.
Jason Gardiner has stood down from his position but Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will all return.
Former contestant John Barrowman is to replace Jason as a judge and will know what the celebrities are going through.
But who exactly will he be judging next year? Here are the rumoured contestants of the show.
Ashley Banjo could be seeing a very familiar face entering this year with Perri Kiely thought to have signed up.
Both found fame as part of Diversity and Perri is likely to be an early front runner given his dancing background.
Whilst he might not be used to strutting his stuff on ice, former Strictly professional James Jordan adapted quickly and went on to win the last series of the show.
The first clue that the show’s official Twitter account put out was of someone with big hair and many have speculated that Perri is the owner of the locks.
Dancing on Ice has had success with former Love Island stars over recent years.
Earlier in 2019 Wes Nelson finished as runner-up to James Jordan.
Wes was partnered with Vanessa Bauer and the year before that Kem Cetinay finished fourth with his partner Alex Murphy.
Amber Gill has been heavily linked with the show and after having two male stars from the ITV2 reality programme, it is thought they will have a female star this time around.
If Amber Gill doesn’t get a place on Dancing On Ice then it could be because Maura Higgins got it instead.
The Irish Love Island star proved to be a big hit with audiences earlier this year and could be seen as a good booking for the show.
She has already had a guest slot on This Morning and she could soon be strutting her stuff on ice.
Former Eastenders star Joe Swash looks set to get his skates on in the coming weeks.
It looks like the 37-year-old might have already signed a deal with the ITV show and could be the subject of one of the clues they have put out on social media.
The clue shows a man with an I’m A Celebrity star in his pocket and Joe was named king of the jungle back in 2008.
More recently Joe has been seen doing various presenting roles on ITV2, including I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp, and has also been a regular guest on Loose Women.
He is in a relationship with Stacey Soloman and the couple have recently welcomed their first child together into the world.
So whilst the dancing practice could be tiring for some, it could be seen as a welcome rest for Joe.
Another clue Dancing On Ice’s social media accounts shared showed someone holding up a football.
Karen Carney has only just retired from the sport and could be seen as an excellent addition to the show.
Her competitive streak would almost certainly come out and with women’s football proving to be more popular than ever, it could be a great move.
The 32-year-old played for Birmingham City, Arsenal, Chicago Red Stars and Chelsea during her playing career and made a huge 144 appearances for England.
Michael Barrymore had the world at his feet in the 1990s, he was one of the biggest stars in television.
He had a whole host of his own programmes, Barrymore, Kids Say the Funniest Things and Strike It Lucky to name a few.
He even appeared in the Spice Girls movie Spice World as Mr Step, such was his fame.
But he went from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows and battled alcohol and drug addictions.
In 2001 things took another tragic turn after the body of a man was found in his swimming pool.
Michael was arrested six years after the death but was released by police and withdrew from public life.
He has only been on TV a handful of times since then but returned to prime-time television by appearing on Piers Morgan’s show on ITV a few months ago.
Fans praised his return and called out for him to return to TV and he could well do that on Dancing On Ice.
IAN ‘H’ WATKINS
There is normally a former pop star on most dancing shows and Ian ‘H’ Watkins of Steps could be the man to fill that role this time around.
The 43-year-old has some dancing experience from his time in the band but Dancing On Ice would be a whole different ball game compared to the routines he is used to.
A source told The Sun: “Dancing On Ice is set to be a huge showbiz comeback for ‘H’ and producers are thrilled at the prospect of him joining the show.
“He won a legion of fans in his Steps days with his cheesy dance moves and he could do it all over again by recreating them on the ice.
“Bosses think he’d be hilarious.”
Michelle Heaton has previously expressed her interest in the show and could do well.
She found fame as part of band Liberty X and would be up for the challenge of trying to learn how to dance on ice.
She said: “It is one of those shows that I would love to tick off my bucket list.
“It would be really wonderful to learn how to do something like that. Let’s hope I can pull some strings.”
