An Garda Síochána has responded to a Swiss police dance challenge in fantastic style.

The Swiss officers posted a video of them knocking out a routine to the viral song ‘Master KG’, and it was pretty cool.

Since then, Gardaí from across the country have put their own spin on the challenge, with some classic Irish dancing thrown into the mix, as well as some truly gorgeous shots of Ireland.

Take a look:

We have stepped up to the Swiss police @fedpolCH #JerusalemaChallenge. Gardaí across Ireland answered the call to give the public we serve a lift in these challenging times. #StayTogether #homeStaySafe pic.twitter.com/sbLdkk54hB

Class, right? We even had the horses getting involved!

An Garda Síochána said: “Now that An Garda Síochána stepped up to the challenge, the public now have the floor. So making sure to stay home and in your bubbles. Post your challenge using #GardaJerusalema we want to see what you can do while staying safe.”

Who do you reckon did it better? Maybe we’re being biased, but we’re going to have to edge it to the home team…
