Liverpool vs Genk
Liverpool and Genk will go head-to-head at Anfield on Tuesday evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently 2nd in their Champions League group, one point adrift of table-topping Napoli.
So, the Merseyside powerhouse can’t really afford to drop any points vs Genk.
It was the Belgian outfit who Liverpool faced in their last Champions League outing, putting them to the sword by four goals to one.

Klopp on Pep’s comments
Prior to their tie with Genk on Tuesday, Jurgen Klopp held his pre-match press conference on Monday.
A number of topics were discussed during the presser, one of which was Pep Guardiola’s recent comments about Sadio Mane.
Liverpool would come from 1-0 down to earn a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa on Saturday with Sadio Mane scoring a 94th-minute winner.
After Liverpool’s comeback, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola spoke about the Senegalese winger and how sometimes he dives:
“It has happened many times, what Liverpool have done, in the last few years, it’s because (Mane) is a special talent.
“Sometimes he’s diving, sometimes he has this talent to score incredible goals in the last minute. He’s a talent.” As quoted by Sky Sports News.
Jurgen Klopp has since responded to these comments in his pre-Genk presser:
“I’m not really in a Man City mood. I’m not 100% sure he spoke about Sadio or us in general. I didn’t hear Sadio’s name. Sadio is not a diver. There was a situation v Villa when there was contact & he went down, he didn’t jump over a leg”
