Lisa Armstrong returned to work as a TV make-up artist following the easing of lockdown measures and made sure to do it in style.

The ex-wife of Ant McPartlin kept things casual in a blue printed mini dress which she teamed with fresh white trainers, and kept her short hair tied up off her face, topping off her outfit with a pair of sunglasses.

Of course she made sure to keep protected while travelling in the coronavirus pandemic carrying a Louis Vuitton face mask that matched the expensive handbag that she was carrying.

The Louis Vuitton ‘Love Lock’ Neverfull with colourful bright patches that Lisa carried retails for £2,900, while her Gucci Neo Vintage small messenger bag is around £1,100.

Lisa, who is thought to have received £31million following the end of her 11-year long marriage to TV presenter Ant in their divorce settlement, was seen jumping into a cab with her belongings after work.

She’d also had two large suitcases with her, no doubt full of make-up products and equipment.

The 43 year old was clearly excited to be back at work on ITV show Catchphrase, as she posted a selfie wearing her PPE gear and the £12 novelty Louis Vuitton face mask with a pair of giant red lips on Instagram.

“And we’re back to work……. great to be working again but in such a different way!!! #safetyfirst #thenewnorm

“@catchphrase @stephenmulhern Thank-you @bentherules for my protective but fun mask #loveit xxx”

In the snap Lisa had a different outfit on, a black blouse with blue and turquoise printed pattern on it, as the PPE gear she donned was in accordance to the government guidelines.

The mask proved eye catching as TV presenter Alan Carr took to the comments of her snap gushing over it: “I want that mask!!!”

The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist, who hasn’t been working during the lockdown, had taken to Instagram a few weeks ago to share her tips for covering up her dark hair roots.

Just like the rest of the UK, the beauty expert shared a smiling selfie with her hair tied up in pigtail plaits.

She added in the caption: “When your roots get to much, plait it and add gold sparkle!!! Happy Tuesday everyone… #roots #goldglitterspray….. x”

Of course being unable to work with the usual roster of famous faces while they continued to present television during the pandemic, professional make-up artist Lisa spoke about talent having to get camera ready by themselves.

Speaking to the Royal Television Society, Lisa said: “I haven’t done anything for months. People are having to do their own make-up.

She referred to Piers Morgan’s own make-up mishap: “When Piers did his for Good Morning Britain, I texted him and asked: “What the hell’s happened to you?” People are now appreciating what make-up artists do!”
