Team news: United v Everton Marcus Rashford and Jonny Evans are available to feature for Manchester United on Saturday, says Erik ten Hag. Rashford and Evans had to depart the Manchester derby early, as they had been struggling with fitness issues ahead of the visit to the Etihad Stadium. But the pair have now recovered and are in contention to play against Everton at Old Trafford in the lunchtime kick-off. That means it will be a largely similar squad for the Reds, although Omari Forson is absent because of injury. Part one: Press conference v Everton Press conference part one | Ten Hag on injuries, Everton and what constitutes a successful season… “That is the good news, they [Evans and Rashford] recovered after the derby. So they are available,” said Ten Hag on Friday. “For the rest it is the same squad, apart from Omari Forson. He dropped out. He has an injury.” Rasmus Hojlund will again miss out, although Erik hopes to have the Dane – crowned as the Premier League’s Player of the Month – back for the Emirates FA Cup tie against Liverpool, along with Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka. “For next week I think some players are planning to return,” he said. “So when the process will continue like now. “Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka I expect to be back for our game against Liverpool. Hojlund [is] similar, yeah.” While Mason Mount is sidelined for the clash with the Toffees, Ten Hag added that the midfielder ‘is in a good spell’ and he hopes to return after the international break at the end of March. Tyrell Malacia, Anthony Martial, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw are still injured. EVERTON’S TEAM NEWS Sean Dyche’s men are winless in their last 10 Premier League games, although the reinstatement of four points from their previous deduction of 10 has helped them maintain a cushion to the relegation zone. The Toffees, who have won more games away (five) than at home (three) this season, will hope to have Idrissa Gana Gueye back, with Dyche saying the Senegal midfielder has “got a chance” of featuring. Dele Alli and Arnaut Danjuma are still missing but, aside from a few “knocks and bruises”, Dyche reckons everyone else is in contention to play.
