Joanne Peh, who turns 37 today (Apr 25), rocked many eye-popping looks, especially on the red carpet.

Only Joanne’s playful pose gives away the fact that she was 21 when this was taken — the hair, the makeup, and the cut of her black dress look more mature than what she wears even today.

Ah, denim vests: 2005’s flirty alternative to the timeless denim jacket, especially when paired with short, spiky layers.

A bright-eyed and bushy-tailed Joanne wore a playful grown-out pixie cut for her convocation in 2006.

The wispy ‘do that Joanne sported in Like Father, Like Daughter ranks as one of the worst TV mullets ever.

Can you believe this is what Joanne wore to Star Awards exactly 14 years ago? We wonder what the mother-of-two thinks of this baggy sequinned number now.

Tiny bandage dresses were all the rage in 2009 thanks to the Kardashians, and it looks like Joanne couldn’t resist trying the trend for herself at the ceremony that night.

Va-va-voom! Joanne went head-to-toe sexy while promoting Your Hand In Mine.

Even though Game of Thrones had yet to come out in 2009, Joanne’s chartreuse getup — with its extraneous leather detailing and bronze arm candy — gives us serious “Meereen on a budget” vibes.

In between the garish animal print, the chunky collar, and the visible bra, we can’t decide which element of this getup is the most dated. We live for the day Joanne wears something this “adventurous” on the red carpet again.

Joanne might have made headlines with these strategically-placed cutouts, but you can’t deny how confident and happy she looks showing off her assets.

Joanne’s Dragon Lady-style minidress looks like something straight out of a video game.

We’ll never forget how Joanne sashayed down the red carpet in her peekaboo Bottega Veneta gown.

All we can say is that Joanne has come a long way style-wise.

As much as we love the lace cheongsam mini on Joanne in retrospect, the smokey eye and bronzer are a little harsh.

Joanne sure knows how to spice up her look! The actress is red hot in this quirky Dolce & Gabbana chilli print two-piece and matching hair.

While we liked Joanne’s Leonard gown at first glance, its resemblance to a salamander — which went viral on Twitter that night — cannot be unseen.

Joanne looked positively angelic while ushering in the New Year with her then hubby-to-be, Qi Yuwu.

Joanne kept it simple while promoting her drama at a Singapore Police Force event (and apparently, chunky boots and black leggings were still a thing in 2014.)

Joanne’s not one for crazy hairstyles, so it’s no surprise that she ditched this birdlike ‘do, which she donned for a Vidal Sassoon event, during Star Awards a few weeks later.

Why suffer through the night in heels when you can wear sneakers? Joanne’s creative choice in footwear certainly makes this outfit more memorable.

Who needs a dress when you can wear four Hermes scarves? And the best part is, it only took Joanne’s stylist 40 minutes to put it together.

Apparently, Joanne loves Ferrero Rocher so much that she came dressed as one for the store opening.

At the Asian Television Awards in 2015, Joanne donned a menswear-inspired getup with a frilly skirt and a felt jacket.

Joanne’s metallic Peter Langner gown, which looks like a more grown-up version of the flashy dress she wore to the 2012 Star Awards, is conservative in comparison, but just as stunning.

Pregnancy sure treated Joanne well. The actress seemed to be glowing at every stage of her pregnancy.

Joanne is the epitome of simple elegance in this red plunging gown from Valentino.

Joanne looked radiant and ethereal in her flowy made-to-measure Jessicacindy gown when she received her All-Time Favourite Artiste award.

A year later, Joanne was back in tulle at the Star Awards. We think she aced it in this Delpozo number that is both fun and girly.

Everything about this jumpsuit screams “blog shop” (and not even the good ones).

Joanne put on an eye-popping display when she showed up at a Prada party in a sheer dress that left little to the imagination. Wish she had worn a black leotard inside instead.

Did you know: Joanne’s Star Awards red carpet frock was meant to be this sparkly number by Mikael D? Sadly, it didn’t arrive in time for the ceremony but hey, now that it’s made it, Joanne decided to wear it on another special occasion — her birthday. And of course, she looked stunning in it.

Joanne gave some us serious cheongsam envy in The Last Madame. Doesn’t she look like an elegant lady from the ’20s in this beautiful qipao with lotus watercolour prints?

Joanne showed her patriotic side when she donned national colours to work on National Day. Nice!

Just when we thought Joanne’s Victorian-esque long dress here looked all feminine and romantic, she styled it with a pair of black boot heels to toughen up her look.

Despite the pandemic, Joanne was clearly still in the mood to go big on the CNY celebrations, sporting this festive-ready ensemble which showed off her abs. Our favourite piece on her? The red and gold face mask which looks seriously huat.

Wear two dresses at one go? Why not. For the recent Mind Jumper press con, Joanne layered a sheer Fendi blue frock over a striking orange dress for a fun and fabulous look.

We love the interesting mix of fun with glam in the form of plaid and gala-worthy silhouette on Joanne’s colourful number here.

Joanne went all luxe but still kept things fun and sexy when she attended the Louis Vuitton fashion show in a cropped blazer, bikini top and cargo pants.
