Take a look at the magical new accommodation which is coming to Sundown Adventureland.

The attraction based in Retford, Lincolnshire, has always been a popular family day out for people in Leeds and across Yorkshire.

For the first time ever the theme park, which is around an hour away from Leeds, will be allowing visitors to stay over.

And, our colleagues at Hull Live have given us a sneak peek at what to expect when they open.

The fairy-themed luxury holiday lodges look incredibly cute and are sure to be popular with little ones.

Bassetlaw District Council has approved plans for 90 lodges at Sundown Adventureland.

There will be a mixture of one, two and three bedroom cabins – including 25 eco-lodges – which will be fully furnished for self-catering holidays. There will also be hot tubs at a number of the deluxe cabins.

Gaynor Corr, park director at Sundown Adventureland, said: “We’re really pleased that planning has been passed and we can add another exciting element to Sundown Adventureland for our visitors to enjoy.

“We have had the lodges custom made to fit with the park’s fairy tale theme so that they are unique to Sundown. There is no other theme park in the UK like ours, so we are so excited to bring this next phase to life.
