Hertfordshire is blessed with a huge amount of amazing restaurants that offer some of the finest dining experiences around.
This has meant that celebrities often flock to the county as sometimes it can be a nice relief from crazy London where they’ll often get noticed.
Recently, A-listers have been spotted a lot in Herts and if you visit one of these restaurants you might just see one and be able to bag a selfie – or watch in awe from afar.
So make sure you head on down to one soon where you may end up star struck.

The Florist – Intu Watford
Located in the huge Intu shopping centre is the beautiful restaurant the Florist.
Your senses will go into overload once you see the stunning decor and smell the amazing food and drinks.
There’s no wonder that celebrities love to come here. It provides one of the best Instagram settings out there with the beautiful flowers and plants located around the room.
The likes of Love Islander Alexandra Cane, TOWIE’s Courtney Green and Amber Turner and Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby have been spotted dining here.
The Abbey Restaurant – 8 George Street, St Albans
Found in the stunning town of St Albans, is this equally stunning restaurant.
Similar to the Florist, the restaurant is covered in beautiful flour displays that celebrities and locals can’t get enough of.
Currently there are four different menus on offer and the chef makes sure to use produce from local farms to help showcase what Hertfordshire and surrounding counties.
Write and social media consultant Scarlett London has visited the restaurant as well as presenter Kate Ovens and England Netballer Serena Guthrie.
Veyso’s Brasserie – 97-101 Fore Street, Hertford
Hertford is home to one of the best Turkish restaurants and fine dining experiences around with the likes of Veyso’s Brasserie.
It has four different rooms where you can enjoy the food and a stunning garden with an elegant water fountain in the middle of it.
At night, the garden provides the ultimate summer dining experience and it becomes wonderfully lit with fairy lights.
Love Islander George Rains who hails from nearby Essex posted on Instagram a few weeks ago that he visited here.
Sopwell House – Cottonmill Lane, St Albans
Sopwell House was previously a Georgian manor house and has now been transformed into a hotel and spa with two luxurious restaurants.
The Brasserie menu will have you salivating as you read. It all sounds amazing like the cajun yellow fin tuna steak, raviolini of pumpkin and ricotta, the vegan burger or the amazing looking chocolate and raspberry delice.
Celebrities are always coming here for weekend retreats and to enjoy the food.
Tom (of McFly) and his wife Giovanna Fletcher have been before and former Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson has as well.
I won’t lie, I’m incredibly jealous.
Prime Steak & Grill – 83-85 London Road, St Albans
One of Prime Steak and Grill’s restaurants is located in St Albans and it is very well loved.
It’s definitely the best place for meat-lovers to get tasty, mouth-watering steak along with a great dining experience.
They don’t just sell steak though. You could get the amazing Asian seared tuna or the roast fillet of salmon.
Name the time, date and we will all be down there if Instagram is anything to go by.
Rugby player Baz Barrington recently visited the restaurant to celebrate his 30th birthday.
Other celebrities, like fashion blogger Samatha Maria, have also visited before.
Tabure – 157-159 High Street, Berkhamsted
Tabure is a modern Turkish restaurant which also has a branch in St Albans as well.
Both sites are incredibly popular due to the delicious and delightful menu that will have you stuck for choice.
There’s something for everyone on the menu and the chef’s even add their own twist on traditional dishes.
Make-up influencer and artist, Polly Marchant and other celebs come here because it’s just so good.
Villa Italia – 48 Bell Street, Sawbridgeworth
People have been raving about this restaurant since it opened in March.
It’s an authentic family run Italian that really makes you feel like you’re in Italy, eating delicious food like; fresh pizza, pasta, bruschetta, ravioli and more.
They have regular changing specials like the one last week which was black ink spaghetti with half a lobster – that sounds amazing, right?
Celebrities have already started popping up here like Essex and TOWIE stars James Argent, Jon Clark, and his brother Chris Clark.
Keep your eyes peeled because I expect more are going to turn up in the future.
Skew Restaurant and Oyster Bar – 4 Adderley Road, Bishop’s Stortford
This restaurants provides diners with an exciting and authentic taste of Gazientep which is a city in Turkey also known as Antep.
This really is the place to experience fine dining at an affordable price. The restaurant even has a cocktail bar and lounge as well as a champagne and oyster bar.
The outside area also has lovely views of the River Stort just next to it.
Celebs are always coming here and it’s not hard to see why.
TOWIE’s Amber Turner has been here, as has owner of Natasha’s Lashes, Natasha Sandu and BT Sport presenter Jess Brazier.
The Old Guinea – Crossoaks Lane, Ridge, Potters Bar
Have you ever wanted to eat pizza at a pub while looking at beautiful countryside views? Well then this is the place.
The beautiful pub dates back to 1826 and serves home-made pizzas, pasta, fresh salads and desserts.
Celebrities often come here to enjoy the peace and get away from their busy lives.
Bristol City footballer Carla Humphrey was spotted here a while back enjoying some drinks with friends.
Cinnabar – 88-96 Fore Street, Hertford
Cinnabar in Hertford is a really popular restaurant and club with not only the locals but celebrities from further afield.
TOWIE’s James Argent and Jon Clark have been here as well, Love Islander Kady Mcdermott has as well.
More recently, Jessica Jensen who was Emilia Clarke’s body double in Game of Thrones was spotted in there with some friends.
Ye Olde Fighting Cocks – 16 Abbey Mill Lane, St Albans
This St Albans pub claims to be the oldest in England and dates back to the eighth century.
People flock from all over the country just to say they’ve eaten in the oldest English pub and we’ve even done it ourselves.
Celebrities of course will also make their way to St Albans to also experience it themselves.
Over this summer, guitarist and band member of the Kinks, Dave Davies, took a trip down to the pub himself.
