Manchester City have just a couple of days to recover from the draw with Arsenal before they are back in Premier League action. City were held to a goalless draw with Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. Pep Guardiola’s side could not find the back of the net and missed out on the chance to gain ground on leaders Liverpool in the title race. Liverpool climbed to the top of the Premier League table with victory over Brighton on Sunday. City’s draw with Arsenal leaves them in third place, three points behind the Anfield club, while Arsenal are second and one point ahead of City. City will now prepare to face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Wednesday night at the Etihad Stadium. However, Guardiola is likely to have to go into the game without some of his key players due to injury.
